Editing for effect
Editing for effect involves adding titles, transitions or
filters to the video to enhance its overall appearance.
Transitions
are effects that come between the end of one scene and the
beginning of another. They can be simple, like a “fade-in”
– where your video gradually appears on a screen that
is initially completely blank – or they can be complex,
like a picture of an airplane flying across the screen,
pushing out the first scene and pulling in a new scene.
Editing for content Editing
for content involves the trimming of video clips to remove
undesired portions and then combining those clips into a
cohesive whole. Editing for content allows you to leave
out portions of video that you don’t like or that
are of poor quality, while retaining those portions you
want.
